1. Beta Software

Dovetaile is pre-release beta software provided for evaluation purposes only. It may contain bugs, errors, and instabilities. It is not intended for use in production or commercial workflows. Features and functionality may change without notice.

2. License Grant

Subject to these terms, Dovetaile grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Dovetaile solely for your personal, non-commercial evaluation during the beta period.

3. Restrictions

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the software
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • You may not use the software for any commercial purpose during the beta period
  • You may not share your beta access token with any other person
  • You may not use the software in any way that violates applicable law

4. Data Collection

Dovetaile collects anonymized usage data including session events, feature usage, and error reports. This data is used solely to improve the product. No audio content, project files, or personally identifiable information beyond your beta access token is transmitted.

5. Intellectual Property

Dovetaile and all associated intellectual property are owned by Dovetaile and its licensors. This agreement does not grant you any ownership rights.

6. Termination

Dovetaile may revoke your beta access at any time, with or without notice. This agreement terminates automatically if you violate any of its terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. DOVETAILE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOVETAILE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. DOVETAILE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Dovetaile includes Demucs, an open-source audio source separation library developed by Facebook Research.
